fourth plinth

I walked through Trafalgar Square yesterday and was confronted with many men in kilts….

I hadn’t yet seen the fourth plinth since it’s latest artwork was revealed so it was great to see the stunning, bright blue cockerel overseeing all the happenings in the square.  
Very regal and proud he looks, whilst at the same time adding a sense of fun, some light relief, into a square populated by serious stone and bronze monuments and tourists climbing lions (or scotsmen clambering in the fountains).
