first father’s day

A friend of mine decided to create a truly unique gift for her husband’s first father’s day; a beautiful piece of pottery complete with their son’s footprint.  Such a lovely idea and she invited me along to see the piece created.  On a sunny morning a few weeks ago we made our way to the Pottery Cafe in Battersea where they really know how to help out with the painting of a four month old’s foot!  Lots of fun was had by all, including the little man who was as good as gold.

Getting involved:
foot painting
ceramic jug tiles

And the results after the kiln are fabulous!
